Step-by-Step

How to open a link in the native app

Use the smart link in your bio or description; use the others on pages you control.

  1. 1

    Paste your regular link

Copy the YouTube, Spotify, Twitch, Amazon, Instagram or other supported URL from your browser.

  2. 2

    Copy the smart link

It opens a tiny launcher page that works out whether the visitor is on iOS or Android and tries the right app link.

  3. 3

Add it to your bio or story

Replace the original URL in your Instagram, TikTok or X bio. Visitors tap once and land in the logged-in app.

No platform can force an app to open in every environment — the smart link maximises the chance and always has a fallback.

Private by design

Everything runs in your browser. What you type is never uploaded or stored.

Instant & free

No signup, no watermark and no expiring links — the QR encodes your link directly.

Print-ready

Download the QR as PNG/SVG or print a styled card for tables, stickers and packaging.

Open-in-app link FAQ

Why do links open in a different browser inside Instagram or TikTok?

Those apps open links in their own in-app browser (a webview) where visitors usually aren't signed in. A deep link or intent link asks the phone to hand the URL to the native app instead.

Does a deep link work everywhere?

Android intent links work in Chrome and most in-app browsers. iOS custom schemes work from Safari and many apps, but some in-app browsers block them. In that case the smart link shows an 'Open in browser' hint and a fallback button.

What if the app isn't installed?

The Android intent includes a fallback URL, and the smart link falls back to the normal web page, so visitors are never stuck on a blank screen.

Is the smart link safe to share?

Yes. It only works for the listed platforms and never redirects to arbitrary sites.
