Step-by-Step

How to create a YouTube subscribe link

Works for any public channel.

  1. 1

    Paste your channel

Use your channel URL, your @handle or your UC… channel ID. We normalise it to the canonical channel address.

  2. 2

    Copy the sub_confirmation link

The parameter ?sub_confirmation=1 tells YouTube to open the confirmation dialog the moment the page loads.

  3. 3

    Use it everywhere

Put it in video descriptions, end-of-video cards, email signatures and social bios — or print the QR on merch and flyers.

Prompting at the moment of the click is one of the cheapest ways to convert viewers into subscribers.

Private by design

Everything runs in your browser. What you type is never uploaded or stored.

Instant & free

No signup, no watermark and no expiring links — the QR encodes your link directly.

Print-ready

Download the QR as PNG/SVG or print a styled card for tables, stickers and packaging.

YouTube subscribe link FAQ

What does ?sub_confirmation=1 do?

When added to a channel URL it makes YouTube show a 'Confirm subscription' prompt automatically, so viewers subscribe in one tap instead of hunting for the button.

Does it work if the viewer isn't signed in?

They will be asked to sign in to YouTube first. After signing in, the prompt appears.

Can I find my channel ID?

In YouTube Studio open Settings → Channel → Advanced settings. Or just use your @handle — it works the same.

Does it work inside Instagram or TikTok?

In-app browsers often aren't signed in to YouTube. Pair it with our Open-in-App link so the YouTube app handles the click.
