Step-by-Step

How to create a Threads share link

Meta supports web intents for Threads with text and url parameters.

  1. 1

    Write the post

Draft the text you'd like shared. Keep it under 500 characters, the Threads limit.

  2. 2

    Optionally add a URL

Attach a link; Threads shows it as a link card in the post.

  3. 3

    Add it to your content

Use the link behind a share icon, in a newsletter, or print the QR on event signage.

Threads intent links are lightweight: no SDK, no tracking scripts.

Private by design

Everything runs in your browser. What you type is never uploaded or stored.

Instant & free

No signup, no watermark and no expiring links — the QR encodes your link directly.

Print-ready

Download the QR as PNG/SVG or print a styled card for tables, stickers and packaging.
