How to create a UPI payment QR code
Everything is encoded in your browser — your UPI ID is not sent anywhere.
- 1
Enter your UPI ID and name
Type the VPA people pay and the name that should appear in their payment app.
- 2
Set an amount and note
Fix a price for an invoice or leave the amount empty for open payments. Add a note such as an order number.
- 3
Download and display
Print the QR card for your counter, or share the generated UPI link on WhatsApp for customers to tap.
Check your UPI app's own 'My QR code' as well, if you need a bank-verified merchant QR.
Private by design
Everything runs in your browser. What you type is never uploaded or stored.
Instant & free
No signup, no watermark and no expiring links — the QR encodes your link directly.
Print-ready
Download the QR as PNG/SVG or print a styled card for tables, stickers and packaging.
UPI link & QR FAQ
What is inside a UPI QR code?
A upi://pay URL containing pa (payee address), pn (name), am (amount), cu (currency, INR) and tn (note). Any UPI app can read it.
Is this QR good for businesses?
It works for personal and small-shop payments. Large merchants usually use a bank-issued dynamic QR so each payment can be reconciled automatically.
Why does the link not open on my computer?
upi:// links are handled by mobile payment apps. Show the QR code on your screen or print it so customers can scan with their phone.
Can customers edit the amount?
If you fix an amount, most apps lock it, but behaviour differs per app. Always confirm the received amount.
